We regularly organise focus groups and have tried out the Social LAB method on several occasions and in communities, with the involvement of local government institutions.
We use the research outcomes for advocacy purposes as well.
We seek creative and adaptive responses to social and environmental challenges in partnership with local governments, the local community, development and human rights professionals. We have been involved in the development of several municipal strategies and concepts, e.g. we created the Józsefváros Human Rights City Concept.
We work for sustainable development & equality & more resilient communities, guided by the principles of equity & justice. We regularly prepare policy recommendations and participate in professional forums.

We have worked with several theatres and companies as playwrights, dramaturgs, also as producers in traditional theatre productions.
We have experience with participatory and applied theatres in schools, correctional institutions, prisons and ethnic, minority communities.
Hiszako Indie founded an experts society, the Green Legal Platform (GLP). The main purpose is to engage affected communities into climate and environmental justice movement, and promote environmental democracy and environmental rule of Law.
Among other things, it wants to draw attention to the fact that the effects of climate change are increasingly affecting social groups that are already disadvantaged and that, unfortunately, the responses to the problems and the solutions developed to tackle the climate crisis may also cause further disadvantages and access difficulties and increase inequalities. This is something we want to avoid and we want to build climate impact resilience and enable adaptation in low-income and poorly represented communities.
Hiszako Indie provides trainings, workshops mostly to NGOs, CBOs and municipalities. Our focus is civic engagement and participatory approaches, human rights and equal treatment, non-violence communication, citizen journalism and more!
Our community development course curricula focuses on climate resilience and environmental justice.
We are open to provide facilitation for development programs, projects with vulnerable minorities, mostly Roma communities.
